Care at Home Services Division

At Bluebell Care Services,we firmly believe that care at home offers a realistic opportunity to many people who need care provided for them, to remain living in the comfort of their home. We offer a wide range of home care and support services ranging  from every day support care to End of Life care.Our services are aimed at meeting  assessed care needs without compromising  independence, dignity or privacy of our clients.We will carry out a full assessment before providing our services by gathering information from the client, their loved one and any relevant professionals. This will help us to identify the type of support needed and create an individual care plan built around individual personal requirements.

Nursing Care

Bluebell Care Services has a team of highly skilled registered nurses (RN), who can be very helpful to a Client at home and can help relieve the burden on family members. Our nurses provide nursing services in the comfort of our clients’ home, working alongside the clients’ doctors, to deliver the agreed planned care. Services may include; care of wounds, ostomy care, giving intravenous (IV) treatments, giving and supervising medicines, and monitoring for side effects. Bluebell Care Services is able to provide many of the same care and services as in a hospital reducing the need for prolonged hospital stays which can be very costly.

Homecare Nurse Aides

Bluebell Care has a team of nurse aides offering personalised and tailored support services, of different care calls ranging from 30 minutes to 24 hours.  So, whether a client just needs someone to check in on them a few times a week, assistance with daily tasks, whether its temporary care following a stay in hospital just to help you get back on your feet, or a more permanent arrangement, we will have a team available to assist. This service can include the following activities;
• personal care, such as washing or dressing
• housekeeping or domestic work, such as vacuuming
• cooking or preparing meals
• shopping
• accessing the local community, for example going to the Day centre
• companionship
We are aware that each person’s care needs are unique. We will work flexibly with our clients and their family or representative to ensure that their care plans meet their care needs.

Live In Care

A live-in care package provides around the clock home care to clients who may need this level of support to continue living in their own home and community Bluebell Care will provide clients with their own, dedicated live in care worker who is always available in their own home to help, day or night. A wide range of people receive live in care, from those who have become elderly and frail, have physical disabilities, terminal illness, or complex care needs, to mental health support needs or a learning disability.

Dementia & Alzheimer’s

Far too many times, people with dementia find themselves pigeonholed, often losing their identity, when in fact, each is an individual and it is only dementia they have in common. Sometimes care will be of a practical nature, help with getting up, washing or dressing or perhaps help with meals, laundry and ironing. But it may be about going out to the shops, or a walk in the park or a visit to relatives or friends Many people with dementia are looked after on a day to day basis by a spouse or other family member. But caring relatives need a break from time to time and this is where our ‘sitting service’ can help. On an arranged day each week, we will come and take over the role - allowing the family member time to themselves. Some of our customers may require live-in care, which is also available.

Temporary Staffing Division

 Bluebell Care Services has a pool of highly trained nurses and nurse aides available to work in different hospital and care settings. This can be on an ad-hoc or long-term basis. Other healthcare providers will able to call us at any time to discuss their staffing needs. Our temporary staff cover can be required a result of staff shortages, staff sickness or holiday cover. Our clients can be assured that the nursing staff that we supply have been through our full compliance process, to confirm their professional credentials, including full reference checking and mandatory training. When we select staff for the assignment, we always seek to meet any preferences that the client may have – such as for staff who have worked with your organisations in the past or continuity of care.
